Had a follow up appointment today. Baby looked great on the NST. BP was high (150's/90's), but came down after they made me lay on my side for 30 minutes. The doctor I saw today was very reassuring. She told me not to worry so much, baby has been consistent with his movement (or lack of) and has been fine. She told me my blood pressure is high but not high enough to induce, but she did say its really important for me to rest and stay put on the couch. She checked me and said my cervix is making no progress at all. Its long, firm and closed tight!!! She also said that baby is so high she can not tell his position and wants me to go for an US tomorrow because there is a chance he is breech. Ugh!!!!! This baby is cozy and doesn't look like he's making any plans to come out and play anytime soon! So I have an US tomorrow and a recheck of my BP on Friday. I feel really reassured right now and less anxious so that's the good news.
I am glad that you had a reassuring appointment and that baby is doing well. I am in the closed tight cervix group too. It is nice to see someone else whose baby is happy to hang out inside for awhile longer. I was starting to feel like the only one.
