Baby will be my gift as well. Although, DH has gotten me rings with each of my boys birthstones and I assume he will do the same for this baby but most likely he will wait until Christmas to get that for me.

I guess I'm the weird one. DH did get me a necklace when DD was born. Nothing expensive or anything, just sentimental. I love it bc it is something I will wear to her hs and college graduations, wedding, etc. Just something special to have through the years. I didn't demand anything and don't this time, but I know him and I know he will. His SIL demanded that his brother get her some insanely expensive diamond necklace that they couldn't afford when their daughter was born almost 6 years ago. I thought that was nuts (the A demanding and B insisting on spending money they didn't have on that). But I do like the idea of having some little trinket to wear on those special occasions in my kids' lives. I think it's nice.

I'm not along for one and I wouldn't want anything pricey or big. Something small and sentimental maybe. I actually got DF something lol. He loves batman and he's super excited about being a new dad. Plus he's been so amazing during this pregnancy, so I got him a little handmade brass keychain in the shape of the batman symbol that says "my dad's a superhero" on it. I'm going to give it to him when she's born so he has a little something to carry that reminds him how awesome he is and how much we live him.
