I just had my 12 week appt and things still look good! The little guy/gal is growing and was sleeping, but his/heart was beating away! I am so relieved to have made it this far! Now I'm actually starting to think about who to tell and when!
I'm a little nervous because I've been on progesterone this whole time. My doctor told me I should stop cold turkey at 10 weeks, but I was way too nervous and had another refill, so I kept taking them. But I'm weaning off of them now. I'm not sure if it's related to that or not, but I've been getting clobbered with nausea this week - but I wasn't really sick the previous weeks. I thought the end of the first trimester you start feeling better, but I am struggling! Anyone have any experience going off progesterone? Did you have side effects?
Glad you had an amazing appointment! If you do google the side effects, be careful. Google can sometimes make a cut on your finger look life threatening. WorkerBeeMom, Mindy, was/is on progesterone, I think.... Maybe you can pm her and ask?

I was on 200mg of progesterone 2 times a day. I quit taking it when I ran out at 12 weeks and 2 days so I quit cold turkey. The only side effect I had is I have a lot more energy during the day. I still go to bed early every night but I'm now able to get work done around the house. Oh and I haven't thrown up in about a week. (Hopefully I didn't jinx myself!)
Thanks for the good thoughts about my appointment! And yeah, I hope I feel better soon. I can't complain too much - so many of you sound like you've been a lot sicker for a lot longer! It's interesting that there's a few others that have a bump in nausea in week 11 or 12. One of those things you never hear about (I have a feeling there are many!).
