Is it really that bad to do?? I have felt barfy all day, worse than most days lately, but when I try to throw up nothing happens.... Would it be that bad to stick my finger in my throat and make myself throw up??

I don't know! I don't have a gag reflex, but there have been many times I wish I could just get it over with. My mom used to drink a huge glass of water and make herself throw up before work. Otherwise she would throw up during work and she couldn't leave except on her break.

I've done it a few times. I think it's far better to go ahead and puke, than to walk around feeling miserable all day.

Oh man, I would never do that. I would rather feel queasy than puke, I hate puking.

I've done it a few times and I don't think it's a problem if it isn't something you're doing consistantly. I would so rather throw up than be nausious. Once it's out I'm good, but being nausious completely stops me from functioning.

I tried last night, when I got home, but nothing My eyes got all red and my face got all red, but I could not throw up. So I ended up going to sleep early.

I don't know....I absolutely hate throwing up and will fight it to the end. But I know others who would rather just get it over with. Sorry you're feeling so yucky!

I've had to do that just so I could go on with my day. Like get it done and over with already so I can be somewhat productive. Sorry you feel blah hope you feel better soon.

Unfortunately, there would be no guarantee that the feeling wouldn't come back! I have nausea and often get the feeling like something is stuck in my throat and have vomited a little. It didn't help to feel any better though.
