Whenever I walk and roll over from side to side in bed at night. Does that sound like SPD (Symphis Pubis Dysfunction)? Of course my doc didn't give me a medical term for it but he did say it's normal and that it may get worse as I get further along! :-( Anyone else dealing with this?

Yes, sounds like it. Also hurts to put on pants? Or get into the shower/bathtub? Etc? I had it soooo bad with my last pregnancy, and am not looking forward to it kicking in this time. Unfortunately, nothing seemed to help. I did a lot of yoga in hopes of it making things better, but it was pretty tough towards the end.

Yes I have it here. It's a constant pain and my hip area cracks and pops at night when I turn over. I pray it doesn't get worse!

I have SPD and it hurts when I lay down, sit, stand, walk, go up stairs, put on pants, socks, underwear, roll over, get up and down, you name it. I am tears most nights because it hurts so much.

Me too, It isn't bad yet, but I get it after going for a walk and if I give 100% in Yoga class, it hurts really bad the next day. I found a weight belt reduced the overall pain in abodmen, back and pelvis when walking, but it's tough. There's still a long time to go in the pregnancy too...

I see I'm not the only one. I hope it doesn't get worse for any of us.

Oh, I'm so sorry! I've had that issue with both my other pregnancies. I'm not in pain yet with this pregnancy, but I dread when it starts. I have a book, "Relieving Pelvic Pain During and After Pregnancy" that helped me a lot when I was dealing with postpartum pain related to SPD.
