I was set on Sarah Beth's name...until I actually had to call her that! LOL
It's taken quite a while to get used to but it's feeling better. Everyone loves the name and says she looks like a Sarah Beth so I guess we'll keep it! As far as a nickname we just call her Sarah. Her daddy & brothers call her Princess or Baby Sister!
Christ follower, wife, mommy, friend, student, maker of babies...in no particular order!
Ok I'm not bragging or trying to sound as if I'm bragging but I have a perfect baby. So his name Gabriel fits him so well because hes such an angel. Seriously never cries unless hes hungry and he only gets a little fussy when hes tired. Sleeps all night and when hes awake hes all smiles. But his name fits him perfectly ... I call him Gabergoop a lot but my family calls him anything from Gabe, Abe, and even cricket (which I hate)
I love Mollie's name and everyone else seems to love it too. Random strangers will even say they love her name! We call her Mollie Mae and sometimes just Mae or Mae Mae. Sometimes I call her Mo Mae too. . Both of my kids are named after great grand parents.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb...I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made...My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together...Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139: 13-16
We love the name David and even now we would not change it. The name is perfect for him and I believe he looks like a David. He was named after King David in the Bible. After reading the majority of posts here, I am very happy we didn't go for a 'trendy' name and stuck with something traditional; it would be frustrating for me to endure what many of you ladies are enduring with people who cannot seem to grasp the pronunciation of the baby's name - I would just hate that!
The only qualm we had was his initials (D.A.D.), but I am sure he'll forgive us for it later...because he has a great name when it's stated.
