Its friday and another week is down the tubes! Do you have anything big that still needs to be done for baby? Do you feel ready?

My DH is finishing up painting the nursery this weekend...mostly just touching up the trim. So thank goodness that's almost done. I had to kind of freak out at him. He will also be putting the crib and changing table together and then I can get things put away.

Me? Ready? HA. The crib isn't even put together. I only recently bought some onsies and stuff at a big consignment shop sale. And the baby's room is this bright green color that the people before us painted it. SO wants to put the crib together tomorrow because it's his only day off for a while. Otherwise, nothing is ready. And it's freaking me out, especially since the baby is measuring almost 2 weeks ahead. Ugh!

We have all the major things...but they're all still in their boxes. Since we haven't heard back from any new jobs, we're pretty much decided we're staying here, so next week we're going to look for a place to move. And then next weekend DH is going to put the car seat in his car and set the pack and play up, just in case the baby comes early and we're still in the apartment we're currently in. I would feel much better if we were in a new place so I can set up the nursery and stuff.

Thank you *Kiliki* for the beautiful siggy

We have to go buy a diaper sprayer this weekend and a few odd things. Also I need to get the carseat cover and swing seat cover in the wash. DH is going to install the base in the car also, just because its a PITA and I want to go get it checked by the health dept to make sure its in there good and tight.

But yeah, I feel pretty much ready! Thank goodness because I am starting to really feel like third trimester crap! lol

We haven't done a thing to prepare for this baby yet, I consider two months plenty of time. We don't have a nursery to prep, so that makes things a lot simpler. Our situation with DH's job change has been really stressful, but I'm hoping if we can make it through one more week, we will finally have real paychecks coming in again. Then I'll finally be able to take inventory of what we have and what we need.

We still need a carseat/stroller. Otherwise we have everything. The crib is up, but I still need to put everything in it's place and wash everything etc. Also we haven't put together the bouncy seat or swing yet.

I have everything I need, just need to finish organizing and rearranging the bedrooms so everyone's things fit comfortably. I need to get the cradle set up in our room and I need to wash and put everything in its place. I feel pretty good about where we are right now.

Oh yeah, and baby still needs a name. Majorly freaking out about that.

for the most part, i'm ready. i'm not due til end of june/early july so i've got some time yet but this whole pregnancy has gone by so fast that i want to be prepared asap! each day i'm cleaning things out and just making sure i have enough room for everything. i even started packing my hospital bag tonight! (which i hopefully won't need for another 8-10 weeks) but again, i just want to be able to go when the time comes. my main concern is figuring out getting to the hospital (dh works nights/evenings and we live 40 min away & only have 1 car) and what i'll do with my son. my mom will watch him but she works til end of june so i feel like i need backup plans! and sadly, right now i am STILL debating baby names - i hate how indecisive i am!!

We need to pick up a few little things like a pack of 'sposies and baby soap and stuff. I also need to put together the swing, install the carseat, and finish putting together the crib. That said, if I went into labor right this second we would be fine. We have cloth diapers and clothes, and I have boobs. All the rest is extra.

Still not any closer to being ready. We do have a carseat lined up from my friend, but the nursery still isn't started. We are having a yard sale next weekend to get all the baby girl clothes out of our house. So once that is done, the nursery will be a lot clearer. DH will need to paint. I go back to half days at work next so I can start sewing bedding and curtains.

We have SO much to do. We're making progress, but it's slow. The baby's room still has stuff in it that we need to clear out so that we can paint. We don't have any furniture yet to put in it, but I'm waiting until after my shower next weekend to order anything. (Hoping to either get some of it or get gift cards we can use to buy it!) I'm not due until the end if June, so I have a little more time, but I would love to have everything done by the end of May, that way I don't have to worry about it anymore! I think that's realistic and we can get it done. We just have to keep working on it when we can!
