This little girl is already stubborn! She refuses to let her daddy feel her moving around. I can be laying down at night, and she will be going crazy, he can see my belly move, but as soon as he puts his hand on my belly she STOPS! completely! As soon as he gives up she starts again! Maybe this means when she gets here he will be the only one who can comfort her? Anyone else have a stubborn baby?

This happens to us but I think it's because I wait too long before I get him to feel. By then, he's done moving.

This has been happening the whole time with me and my SO. Lately he's felt her more because there's just not enough room for her to go hide. But my baby is stubborn even when they are doing ultrasounds and dopplers - she moves away every time! It can be a pain.

The last few weeks this has started happening. Whenever the hubs comes over he always comes over talking (he has a rather deep, booming voice) and kiddo just stops moving and calms down. The only time hubs feels him moving is if he comes over without talking or at night when we're going to sleep.

I've found it quite useful when my bladder and cervix region is being used as bounce pads.

We call this the IT effect. My husband works in IT, and it seems like anytime anyone asks him for help, it magically fixes itself as soon as he looks at it. Same thing with the baby...he can be wiggling around like crazy, but as soon as DH touches my tummy he stops.

This has happened a few times when my oldest son tried to feel the baby move. My youngest felt it several times, but as soon as my oldest put his hand on my stomach, baby froze up. For the longest time he thought I was teasing him that you could actually feel the baby move at all.

Yes! This happens all the time. Grayson will be moving around in there like CRAZY and as soon as DH puts his hand on my tummy he stops immediately. I am gonna hope that that means daddy will be able to soothe him when he comes One can hope, right?

It happens when I try to get the girls to feel kicking. Hopefully that means he'll be used to all the crazy noise

Your babies might be reacting to the additional warmth or pressure. They can feel temperature changes now They feel a change and stop to try to figure it out. My son was more sensitive to touch than this one seems to be. I would rest my hand on my stomach and within a minute I'd feel his little butt press up against my skin and fill my hand. This one seems very comfortable living inside my rib cage. But then I also don't seem to be rubbing my stomach as much. With Alex all my downtime would be spent massaging my belly and patting his bottom but with this one I have less downtime and am much more tired.

'Scuse the bad typing, please. 'Breast is Best' but not when browsing the internet!
