A little while ago this was a topic. I thought that 1. I was too tired to nest. 2. That you girls must be superheroes. Yesterday was insane! My house wasn't horrible, but I would be embarrassed if someone would drop in. My whole main level was deep..deep..deep cleaned. I was moving all the dang furniture (thank god for hardwood floors), getting spider webs that seem to disappear and reappear again at the drop of a hat, moving the toaster oven, microwave, arranging and rearranging my wine cart, making sure every darn spot was off my tile flooring, washing my screens for the windows. After 5 1/2 hours, my main floor was finally done. There are a few things I want to do yet, but I just had to stop yesterday. I was moving so much in the groove of things, I was getting frequent braxton hick contractions. Upstairs is going to be easier... All carpet.. Except my bathroom.

Who's nesting with me??

me! we move on Friday and I have never been so organized/prepared for a move! I want everything to be perfect. Now hopefully I will still have energy to unpack and organize in the new house as well. I've also been having frequent braxton hicks, which is interesting as I didnt have them at all last pregnancy.

I have been nesting for a while but with lifestyle you never notice. I have to do the whole thing every night lol. I am still sorting crap from the first 14 weeks of pregnancy as that had me on my knees lol.

No nesting here, and I doubt I will. I have no energy or desire to do anything.

I'm too tired lately, but I can't wait for it to hit me. Occasionally I'll get short little bursts where I want to clean or organize something but it's not full on nesting yet.

My DH is! He's cleaned out the basement, garage, closet, and the kitchen! I am still doing my usual chores but nothing out of the ordinary yet. So I sit back and let him clean!

I've had two portrait sessions to work on, so I've let everything slide. But yes the urge is definitely there. I've had to fight myself not to go mop the floors, vacuum, rearrange this or that. It always seems to be little things that would never matter to me any other time! I don't have your dedication though!

I guess I am nesting now. After I finished the nursery and cleaned out my closets, I ended up vacuuming the lamp shades and blinds. While doing so I think I was like "yup...nesting has begun". Today I am tackling the kitchen cabinets and such.

My husband goes into a 15hour work day for bar exam tomorrow. I had a huge list of stuff all weekend. Im not close to being ready. Now I can see what I have and what I need to replace. I threw out all baby girl clothes.

I already went through my major "deep clean and organizing" nesting phase. So I'm on a break. lol

I'm gearing up for the second phase, though. It's not here yet, but probably in a few weeks I'll get started. Getting car seat ready. Getting bassinet ready. Buying the final few things I need (Boppy, monitor, nursing cover). In another month I'll start freezing meals.

I have a 32-week scan in two weeks. Once I get that done, I'll feel a lot more comfortable about buying those last few things.

Sorta but not really. I am starting to feel the stress about everything I have left to do but I don't reallyhave the eenergy (or money) to do much about it. I have been doing sone cleaning but it isn't perfect. Mostly, I'm just starting to stress out.

I want to so badly but I'm not allowed to until I'm off of bed rest at 34 weeks and even then I'll be taking it easy until 36 weeks. After that I'll probably go crazy nesting!
