Our weekend was pretty good. It started out Friday with us receiving a surprise box from my mom's cousin. We're the only family he really has left, so we're used to him getting us things for big events (graduation, wedding, etc.), but I was BEYOND surprised when we opened the box and there were TONS of toys and clothes for the baby. My mom said she got e-mail from him earlier in the week saying he "went a little overboard." He's getting a VERY nice thank you note from us.
Saturday was a vegging day, and we only ventured out so that we could drive around the neighborhood we're trying to move to, and get a sense of what it'll be like. It's going to be 100x better than where we are now, and we think we'll be much happier living here if we're OUT of the main city.
My weekend was ... meh. I went with my baby sis to look at apartments, which wasn't too bad. It was nice to get out of the house. But then I got into it with my other sister because she's ... not nice to my kids, I guess is the nicest way of putting it. And she's living with my parents right now, so if I want to see them I pretty much have to put up with her. Well, after this weekend I decided that I'll just have to keep my distance or only visit when she's at work, because I'm tired of her treating my boys like dirt. (Sorry, I'm still venting over this mess)

"Would I rather be feared or loved? Um ... easy, both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me." - Michael Scott
Awful. Well, that's a bit dramatic but it pretty much sucked. Seemed to go fine Friday night. Before going to bed, DH and I were discussing final plans to enjoy a night away and go see a concert with my sister and several other people Saturday out of town. Well 1 am, Abri started puking and didn't stop until 3:30. I think we washed every set of twin size sheets we own except for the ones on Lily's bed that she was sleeping on. So at 3:30 am we make the decision that one of us can't go to the concert because we can't pawn off a sick child to a babysitter. So I stay home because Abri is a mama's girl. Then we were supposed to have my maternity pictures Sunday afternoon at our friends' backyard garden. The weekend was a total washout. It never got out of the 50s and rained the whole time. So we cancelled pics. I feel like my whole weekend was a bust and I'm still pretty bummed about it all.
It went pretty good. We were able to get about half of the cleaning and organizing done that we needed to. I finished my last final of the semester so I am happy to be done with that, praying for decent grades.
But I have been really hormonal so DH and I are arguing a lot more, which sucks. Just ready to have my hormones back in check.

My weekend was the perfect mix of productive and relaxing. Because my blood pressure has been creeping up, I made an effort to relax most of the weekend. I was able to get some stuff done around the house, too, without making my legs and ankles swell. It's the little things, I guess.
