I huff and puff just from a walk up my driveway. When will this stop? =P

I get winded, and then I also ALREADY feel like I can't breathe half the time. I seriously feel like I have asthma. I brought it up to my doctor and she just said "Oh it's normal." Umm at 14 weeks? My uterus is still 2 inches below my belly button...nothing is pushing on my lungs yet!

I know right!!!!^^^^^I rarely say anything or complain, cuz at this point I'm afraid they will just say that, when this pregnancy is far different from my other two. I just chaulk it up to being old!!! Lol

I already had semi-asthma so maybe I just haven't noticed it yet?
I did not know about this part of pregnancy though!

Yea I feel that way too. It is embarrassing because I just feel like I look fat and people are saying look at the fat woman that can't walk upstairs at work. I know that isn't the case, but that evil little man in the back of my head just won't shut up, lol.

I also have mild asthma, but it usually only bothers me when I am around cigarette smoke. Second hand, third hand, or 100 feet away, that will always give me an attack, but I have been out of breath since before I found out I was preggers. I thought it was because my new heartrate needed more blood, and figured I would make an extra pint or two by this point. I'm still just as out of breath as ever. I didn't do this with my girls. It's annoying! I wonder if I started working out a little every day if that would help. I have been avoiding it because 10 seconds on my bike has me huffing like I never moved in my life.

I get like this walking up stairs or around the er now! I even walk from my pov truck to the logistics bay at work (maybe 100-500 yards) and I'm so out of breath it's crazy!

I do too...
here is why...
your blood vessels expand while your body begins to create a higher blood volume, but the vessels seem to expand faster than the blood volume can increase. So when you exert yourself even a little bit your body tells you to slow down because the blood in your body isn't circulating as fast as it used to. Once your vessels and blood volume match you will get a bit of a break AND THEN!!!! you'll get a baby pressing on your lungs and be unable to breathe again.
now you've had your science lessen for the day..lol.. I read it in a pregnancy book when I was pregnant for my daughter and suddenly it all made sense! I can't wait to be able to breathe again!

I get it all the time!! I have had it with all my pregnancies except my first. To answer you question of when it will stop, When the baby gets here! Seriously it does not get any better during pregnancy.
