I need help ladies! I am having a significant amount of sciatic nerve pain. Today has got to be the worst. I walked the girls to school this morning and barely could make it home. It's on my left side and radiates down my left buttocks. It's crippling. I've been taking Tylenol which helps but only last 2-3 hours at most. Is there any stretching/exercise that can improve this?
I just always lay down and rest for a bit. There may be nothing you can do to make it better besides make baby move which is probably why Tylenol isn't working (I'd stop taking it especially if your taking it that often) cause its likely caused by baby pushing on that nerve. Lay down relax or take a nice warm bubble bath and see it that helps. (Hmm since some mamas seem to have problems getting out of the tub ya may wanna make sure your DH is home before attempting a bath unless your sure you can get out yourself)
I've been having sciatic nerve pain for weeks now. It was on the right at first, it's been on the left now for 2 weeks. I find that the only thing that lessens the pain is when I sit up on my bed with the soles of my feet facing each other and just resting that way. I've tried the stretches and exercises and resting is really the only thing that helps. I literally feel your pain and I'm sorry you've got to deal with it, too!
It has been horrible for me too for a few days. This is def making up for my perfect painfreee pregnancy. Hurts so bad! And, taking a both does nothing for me. It makes it worse from the bending and trying to sit/get out.
