Who else here suspects (or knows) they are having a big baby? Why do you feel that way?

I had an OB appointment today and I gained 5 lbs in 3 weeks. I'd already started to suspect that this baby was rather large but when I learned that I really thought this could be my biggest baby yet. I'm wondering if baby will be 9 or 10 lbs even by the time the c/s happens at 41 weeks. My girls were 7'10 and 6'10 and my boy was 8'8. They were all between 10 days past due and 2 weeks past due. So, not all that big.

I have never before had such ligament charlie horses when laying down or lower pelvic soreness. I guess I will know for sure in a few weeks but geez!

I'm having a big baby - she measured 5 lbs at 32 weeks and 8 lbs at 37 weeks. I also have a platypelloid pelvis shape, so my chances of a c-section are high. My OB is letting me try for a vaginal birth though, so we'll see. I keep getting asked if it's twins *sigh*. I'm sort of scared about how big she is!

I'm guessing she will be big, my midwives don't guesstimate size but Connor was 8'4", I'm guessing she will be close to or over 9 lbs by the time she gets here. I'll be surprised if she's less than 8.

My midwife thinks over 8 pounds, which sounds huge to me. DD was 7lbs, 3oz and that was plenty big for me. I hope she is wrong about this one!

The US tech estimates my guy to measure in the 80th percentile. My fluid is normal and my belly measurments are consistantly 2 weeks ahead. At nearly 34 weeks they told me around 5lb11oz. My first was 7lb13oz at 38 weeks and my second was 9lb3oz at 39 weeks so I'm sure this guy will be a bit on the larger size.

If I were going to term, Bodhi would probably be a good size baby. He measured 6 lb 3 oz yesterday at 36W3 days. Bourne was such a peanut at 6 lb 4 oz.

I do not give into the whole big baby thing. Ultrasounds are off by 1-2lbs either way.. We will see when he comes.

I'm thinking he will be on the bigger side. He was 4.9 lbs (64%) at 32 weeks and I'll find out tomorrow how big he's grown since then. I've also been measuring 1-2 cm ahead at my checkups for a couple months now. My girls were 4.7 lbs and 7.7 lbs.

Mine was measuring 7lbs 8oz at 34 weeks......(97th percentile), and is now off the charts over 100th percentile. Who knows how big he'll actually be but definitely not a 6 pounder

I feel like she is big. My boys were both 8lbers. She feels much stronger than I remember either of them being.

DD was 7.13 and DS was 6.12 both born a week early. I feel, based on that, it could go either way. However, many u/s have revealed what they believe to be a rather large baby. They said if I went to my due date or after she could be 9-10lbs. I will believe it when I see it...DD was supposedly "tiny" and estimated to be "under 7lbs" and she came out almost 8lbs so I know all too well how off they can be.
