My DH is being great really. I have been getting kind of frustrated with him about things but I know it is just the hormones. He really has been great with spending a lot of extra time with the boys and whenever I tell him I need help with something he always helps. He really is such a great daddy, I cant wait to see how he is with his little girl.

DH is doing pretty good. I suppose he is nesting a bit. He weeded the flower beds, cleaned out our deep freezer, and cleaned out our fridge. He even did some work in our little garden and got our lettuce harvested, cleaned, and put in bags. Today he took the girls to an indoor waterpark so that I could run errands to get last minute baby things and work on my sewing. He does a great job anyway. I can't wait to see him with this baby. He does a wonderful job with newborns

DH is praying that this baby doesn't show up before Wednesday bc he has 2 huge days at work coming up. Other than that, he is great. He has been doing a lot with DD, running errands for me, giving me back rubs, and pretty much letting me have my way with everything. He did great with DD when she was a newborn. He even changed her first diaper. The nurse was standing there and about to do it and he jumped right in her way. And he is such a sweet little girl Daddy. I am excited to see how things will go with 2.

Jordan has been wonderful. As you all may remember, we were going through a pretty rough time when I was pregnant...well McKinley's arrival seems to have done wonders for our relationship. We are back to being a team on everything rather than butting heads and arguing about everything. He is wonderful with newborns and has been a huge help to me this past week. I absolutely love watching him with all his kids, it makes me fall in love with him all over again.

John is being so wonderful. He wasn't supposed to stop working until I had the baby, but the last couple of days have been so difficult for me that he took Friday and today as vacation days, and then tomorrow his parental leave from work officially starts.

He and I spent about an hour last night going over what my daily routine with Fiona is like - I wrote down a list of all the different things I usually give her for meals and snacks. Explained when I usually give her quiet time, play time, computer time, etc. Wrote a list of activities - park, bike rides, nature walks, playdoh time, swimming, library. And then we worked out a menu for the week that he can cook (he's not very confident in the kitchen) and I wrote up the shopping list for him.

As of this morning, he's completely taken over. He got Fiona up and ready and fed and off to school - he even made me breakfast, after letting me sleep in - and now he's off doing the grocery shopping. He even asked if he could come to my midwife appointment with me today so he can ask questions about the induction tomorrow.

When John is stressed, it helps for him to have something to do. I know he's nervous about the baby coming, and he's dreading my being in labour because he can't stand to see me in pain...but he's keeping himself busy and productive, and as soon as the baby comes, I know he's going to be amazing.

My husband has also been amazing. He has taken over all household duties.

My only complaint is, every time I have a contraction or wince a little bit in pain, he gets this very scared look on his face and politely informed me

"I like the idea of knowing when the baby is coming. We planned for monday, let's try to stick with that."

It was so cute because he was serious.
