I will be 24 weeks on Friday and I am counting down the days too. To me this is the most stressful part of the pregnancy. I know I really want her to stay in as long as possible and anything before 36 weeks just scares the crap out of me.
When I was pregnant with my 2nd son I used to sit and cry at this stage just thinking of what could happen. Darn stress mixed with super hormones just did me in with him. I have many, many talks with the baby too just telling them to stay put in there until mommy tells them it is ok to come out, lol. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, but in some little way it is reassuring to me to know that the baby can hear me now and knows they are loved.

Isn't it also the point at which doctors will try to intervene for the baby to survive as well? that's the part that's important to me. Just thinking about going into labor in 2 weeks scares the heck out of me, but knowing they will do what they can to help him live is kind of comforting.
