Lets talk about the nursery! What colors are you doing/want to do? Are you going to have a theme?

Cute! Men and their sports hehe.

I'm kind of doing a slight monster theme. I'm not into matchy-matchy so I won't be buying a bedding set but I'm using this:

little monster hunter | Lay Baby Lay

as inspiration. I love how the colors are boyish but still a little different. My crib is white and I think I'm going to paint the baby's dresser the light blue color shown to make things a little funky.

plus the nursery room gets a lot of natural light so it *should* be able to pull off the darker grey color paint. Buying a sample of it first to test before I go all out.

Carter's is having an online sale and I'm having a harder time shopping for my boy than I am for my girl. With a girl, it's just find a cute dress. For my boy, I'm finding things with large animal appliqués on them and I don't like that. That stuff isn't cute to me. But I need to stay on the cheaper side of baby clothes. Maybe I should just tell people what I'm having, that way they can buy most of it but they'll probably buy more for the girl than the boy. Grrr.

What kind of style do you like for boys? I'm not a firetruck and puppy dog person myself but i've been finding lots of cute stuff! @_@ Target actually has some unique pieces for boys and i also like Amy Coe for Babies R Us and some of Heidi Klum's "Truly Scrumptous" stuff there too.

I'm not doing a nursery, unless by some miracle we find a 5 bedroom house in our price range. We're in the process of house hunting right now. He is just going to co-sleep with us like the other 3. Not even sure how the bedroom situation will work out when he is older, so I guess eventually we'll need a 5br. My oldest son is 11, daughter 8 and youngest son is 6, so it's difficult for any of them to share a room.

My DH is a heavy equipment mechanic, so we buy a lot of boys stuff with trucks, construction equipment and tools on them, or with sailboats since my FIL races them. I like Target for boys stuff.

Yep, my kids' nursery will be my bedroom but I am getting a crib s o they can sleep separate of me. Let's see how long that lasts, especially with me healing from a c-section. . My other two coslept w/ me b/c I was living in my parents' house at the time. Now I have a 3/2 and my two sons occupy both other rooms. They are 3 years apart but one is almost an adult so I won't make them share.

Yep we'll be getting it done.

I need to make my way over to Babies R Us! I keep hearing about this amazing sale! And that they have Halloween stuff out already!

I'm just wondering if the sale is mostly end of summer stuff though? I can't wait for fall/winter things to start rolling out!

Has anyone checked out Target's baby sale yet? They keep emailing me about it....

We will be getting it done also. I left the decisioin up to my husband and he said absolutely, positively, without a doubt lol!

I haven't checked out Babies R Us or Target. I feel like I am so behind in baby shopping. I'm holding off until maybe next month and then I'll do some more shopping. I'm hoping the fall/winter stuff will be out by then
