Easier or harder than you expected as of right now?

A little harder. I'm having some trouble balancing two kids. During the day, Aidan fights sleep quite a bit and that doesn't give me much time for Lillie. I try but it's hard.

Taking care of 2 babies is so far easier but dealing with my 4 year old is far more difficult that I thought

Easier this time around. Henry is a much easier baby than Abri was, and I am emotionally better this time than I was with Lily. Wrangling three kids does have its challenges but I think I've managed it well enough

I'm pretty good with all 4 until its close to bedtime! Usually the older 2 are wild! And my 16 month old has really started fighting me to go to sleep since the baby's been born.. and the baby thinks he should stay up most the night so I dread night time to say the least. I will be glad when we get back intonation routine!

Harder. DD is much needier than I was thinking she would be. She is quite fussy, wants to BF all the time, and spends half of the night grunting and whining because she is so gassy. I know it will get easier, but right now it's quite frustrating at times.

I didn't really know what to expect! It's great unless he fights sleep and having to get up in the middle of the night lol

I knew that a newborn and a toddler would be tough, but I wasn't prepared for it to be this rough. Lena is a much needier baby than Anna was and being outnumbered all day when DH is at work is pretty tough.

It has been a bit tougher than I expected. I am handling the kids OK but my house is an absolute disaster area and if my kitties didn't meow at me I'd forget to take care of them. I feel horribly accomplished if I manage to do something like the dishes in between all the feeding and pumping and taking care of a toddler who is acting well like a typical terrible two year old. And little man wants to constantly be held...and of course the one thing I haven't gotten is the one thing I need most...a ring sling. And of course we have no money for one. Sigh.

Taking care of Ellianna is about what I expected. The pain in the bottom is way out of control. I was not in that much pain after labor. However, with any exertion I get such pain in the perineal area (and I only had 2 stitches almost 4 weeks ago). Went shopping for about an hour today, and now it hurts so bad to stand. Gives me a great excuse to just sit and hold my gorgeous daughter (and no, I am not bais - I know she is absolutely gorgeous )

When he's not going through a growth spurt, I'm finding it easier than I thought it would be. He's generally not very fussy, and he sleeps almost through the night. He wants to be held all the time, but if I put him in the Moby wrap I can do pretty much anything. (I did my one week post-partum appointment with him in the Moby. They just had me lay back and spread my legs with him strapped to me LOL). I haven't tried peeing with him on me, I put him down for that. LOL

Thank you *Kiliki* for the beautiful siggy

I wasn't really sure what to expect as there have been lots of babies in my family over the years and they've all been very different. I think what I was least prepared for was taking care of a newborn after a c-section and furthermore taking care of a newborn with an infected c-section incision. Now that I'm almost healed up, it's getting easier. When I do get to sleep, I'm able to sleep almost comfortably and that has made a world of difference. Anna has her good days/nights and bad days/nights, but over all I really couldn't ask for a better baby.

So much easier! McKinley is sooooo much easier than Kiefer was and Jaleigh is such a big help because she plays with Kiefer while I'm nursing so that he doesn't destroy the house. We obviously have our issues with me by myself with 3 kids all day but overall, things are going much better than the disaster I was envisioning all pregnancy.

So far easier. I was prepared for B2 to be as difficult of a baby as B1 but he is not. We still have some difficult sleep nights but overall it has been easier because he is such a mellow baby.

Definitely easier. Gray is a really mellow baby. I was really expecting the worst, so I have been pleasantly surprised.
