I had my doctor appointment today.
Everything looks great.
She does want me to repeat my ultrasound to get a better picture of the heart chambers. I am trying to stay positive and not worry about the worst case scenario.
Also got my ob-gyn booked for August 26th
During my last ultrasound- the technician kept telling me how she is getting great pictures of the baby it's really co-operating and moving around a lot.
She then started to have me hangs positions and was keeping quiet. She called in another technician for a second look. I asked if everything is ok and she said they are having a difficult time getting pictures of the baby's heart.
My doctor today gave me a referral to get the heart chambers checked out- will keep my fingers crossed its nothing.
The same thing happened to me at my 20 week ultrasound. They got good pictures of everything except the heart. My tech said that is pretty common depending on where and how the baby is laying. Its because they want to see all four chambers of the heart. I have a follow-up ultrasound on the 17th. I'm sure everything is going to be fine with your LO

I'm sure everything is going to be fine. Just stay away from Google. When is your follow up? If I remember right weren't there a few others that had a hard time getting pic of all the heart chambers. In other words its pretty common.

Baby #6 due in April
It's probably cool, just wanting clear pictures. Baby B wasn't cooperating with the heart part at mine and at the last minute we got to see all four chambers. I'm going back for my 20 wk on the 18th so that they can check out Baby A's spine. She wasn't cooperating with that part of it.
I don't like that your tech got quiet and got another person. Seems like an unnecessary way to cause worry.
