You may have to roll the mei tai bottom strap up once or twice, otherwise the baby just gets lost in there lol. You can also stuff a hand towel at the bottom for their feet to rest on.

I spent the day running errands going in and out of numerous stores and having to pop little man in and out of the sling several times and man he has got it down now to the point where he no longer shifts sideways and when I get him out of his car seat he instantly froggies his legs up to be tucked in lol and even if he is wide awake he falls asleep within minutes of being put in the sling.
Brianne thanks for those FB groups I joined both Although since so many ladies wear wraps on there that has me curious about wraps but wow they look insane priced!!!

I LOVE our Moby. Due to Jocelyn having hip displacia, we were told she shouldn't have her legs together which means limited time in her car seat. I bought a wrap and it kept her legs in the perfect position, even with her harness on. I've used carriers and slings before but this was my first child with the wrap. I can't believe I never tried one before.

There's a couple of B/S/T groups, but they are very addictive lol. One is baby wearing on a budget and only sells carriers for less than $100. Not all wraps are $200 and $300!!

I recently read that the recommendation for newborn legs is not to froggy them anymore. You'll see it mentioned on the groups a lot, some say they still do it up to a couple of weeks but after that its legs out. Or as long as they aren't sitting on their feet, and actually sitting on their butt with their legs up, it should be ok.

I've stopped froggy legging Rowan in the sling because of gas. The mei tai doesn't bother him in that position, just the sling. He's weird.

Mama skunk, you can make your own wrap out of a flat bed sheet . There are a ton of tutorials online for DIY wraps, most for under $20. I don't know why professional carriers are so expensive when it's so cheap to make your own.

Brianne...I haven't heard anything about that yet.

Merinsun...that is definitely even more stupid that they are so expensive to buy then but will have to check out the DIY ones cause I have a TON of flat sheets lol

So sweet!! I love baby wearing too. Just today I took my three girls shopping and it was so nice to wear him and not worry about a stroller between tight isles.

I figured out how to shift Rory around and bottle feed him while walking around the grocery store. I'm thrilled about this. This will make taking Alex to the park a million times easier.

And a million times MORE easy for when I can finally switch him back to the breast, we're getting closer

I got G breastfeeding in the sling while I ate dinner it wasn't perfect because he needed more head/neck support so I was using one hand to hold his head in place most of the time, but it was good enough to let me eat dinner at the table! I really needed a folded up blanket or something to stabilize him. Plus the rings migrated down from my shoulder too far. With M I never did babywearing while she was this small, so I'm learning how to handle the newborn floppiness.

Next up, I am going to try the wrap!! Sort of intimidated but the sooner I start trying, the sooner he'll get used to it and the sooner I'll get good at wrapping!

Oh gosh Merin I need to master that still myself. I went grocery shopping earlier and I swear little guy has radar for the checkout line and always decides that's when he is hungry and wants fed right NOW! And when he is hungry he always goes from sound asleep to screaming so loud its like echoing throughout the store.
