is anyone else super emotional? I feel like all I do is cry. I've been having some issues lately- mostly family and financial. but im having a harder time than I thought I would "being" pregnant. I wasn't totally prepared for it, but I always thought I would embrace it more than I am. We're having a baby boy and while I AM excited for him, I'm having trouble connecting with him and that's making me feel like a bad mom. I've been healthy and so has he so far in this pregnancy and I AM grateful for that so much! so I hate to come on here and cry about nothing really. but i still want to just bawl my eyes out all the time
Married to my best friend 2007. DS 2013. Hoping for another in 2017.

I've been pretty emotional too, but it comes and goes. I try to think of it as part of the experience and that there would be something wrong if I weren't so emotional So in a sense feeling completely abnormal is normal for us right now. Hang in there!!

My ex during my first pregnancy always said "here comes the water works". I got triggered easily. It's normal mama. And you will connect more with your baby as it gets bigger. Your not a bad mom. It's normal!

Its totally normal. I am also in the same emotional state as you. We have a lot going on right now. My living room is now and has been under renovations for the last SIX weeks. Should have taken no more than TWO but here I am on Weekend number six without a living room, which is smack dab in the middle of the house and my house is tiny so I have been entertaining six kids in the kitchen ugh. Also our finances have been tanking and just seems to continue on and it never seems to catch up. Of course we are still in shock from our T21 diagnosis, and handling well, but sometimes it just hits me in the face, then the other day my daughter came home from a sleepover with friends that lasted four days...with head lice! soo incredibly gross and I am just disgusted by it really. Cant eat or sleep much I am a total and complete wreck and have been crying for three days. I just can't take much more.....I wish it would all just calm down! Im with you mama~

I've always been overly emotional, but now that I'm older and preggers the mama bear is starting to rear her head! I'm finding myself in situations where she sorta has to, but I'm glad to say that I've not been retreating as per usual.

Still, I don't handle it all well emotionally. I don't like that I'm a shut-down kinda gal, but I really am. It takes me a day or two to shut down and grieve or stress and process before I bounce back....

I think you are too kind. Kind people give the people around them a hard time. You can't express yourself honestly, because you are worried about hurting other people's feelings, and that makes you miserable.~"Winter Sonata"

Its totally normal and are not a bad mom. Being totally emotional is just part of it. As far as connecting with baby, you will as the pregnancy progresses and you feel the baby move more.(((hugs)))
