Today it was 44 degrees here... And I had to bus and then walk to my appointment which happened to be during the hottest time of the afternoon. Weee.
Cooper is looking darn good. Kids a champ through all the crap and my body parts failing. Heart rate was awesome, my blood pressure was great (even though I hiked through the heat) and Dr. said I looked amazing considering what I've been dealing with. Apparently this week she's seen quite a few GD women who looked like death. Oh and a bunch of dehydrated ladies, if you can believe it. Not me! My insides are dying but my outsides look great!
I'm measuring 34 weeks.. Uh oh. Two weeks ago I was spot on for 28 weeks. Going to see if it was a fluke next appointment but if not I'll be getting another ultrasound. I must get a good belly picture. I AM ******* MASSIVE. Two weeks makes a HUGE difference. At least it's all belly. We went over my chart looking at my weight from week to week and all total since my epic stint in the hospital in March (made me lose at least 20 pounds) I have lost about 2 pounds. Which means I am still under my pre pregnancy weight. Scares me some times but Cooper is doing so well, he must just be sucking the fat cells outta me and I guess I don't really mind! Little dude wasn't head down, but the kid never stays in one position for long and prefers to sit under my boobs, which is so darn uncomfortable.
I haven't been able to get my blood sugars very low and now I am documenting every crumb I eat. No serious spikes but it's still pretty high. Gotta poke myself 4-6 times a day for now, just to see where I'm going wrong. Ugh.
