My lo is 12 weeks and about 13 pounds, He is formula fed and has between 25-30 ounces a day. Over the last three nights he has been given his last bottle and falls asleep around 9:30-10:30. He is sleeping straight though to 8-8:30 am. He jossels a little aroung 5:30 but falls right back asleep. He was waking up last week and having a bottle at 5:30 but that's dropped off. I'm worried hrs going too long between feeding but he seems happy and playful all day. I feel like a nut, beg for them to sleep, when they do freak out about every detail.
I would pay top dollar for that problem! lol I agree if he's hungry he'll wake up. If he sleeps through the night, by all means let him. If it worries you you could always just take him for a weight check to assure he's gaining and put your mind at ease.
At 13 lbs I wouldn't worry about him at all! That's a nice solid little baby you got there. I know it's easy to worry about every little thing but just try to put it out of your mind. If it helps you could ask your pediatrician and make sure they say it's ok. I'm so happy for you that he's sleeping all night!
omg you're so lucky!!! We have an 18 lb baby and he wakes up every two hours at night; although he has gone the occasional 4-hour stretch in the last 10 days. Our pedi said (since he knows he isn't sleeping) that he'll eventually stop growing so fast and sleep more at night, and not to be scared if he suddenly goes a 6-8 hour stretch. Hah! We are more than ready for that moment to come!
