Anyone getting these??
I did for a few weeks about 3 months ago, but luckily they stopped. Then last night I guess I was a little dehydrated and I got 2! charlie horses in my right calf - both times I woke up. The second was so bad it still hurts almost half a day later.
Excuse me if my typing is bad There's probably a baby in my arms.

Oh that is terrible. I am sorry. I take a magnesium supplement every day to combat my RLS and it keeps my leg cramps away. Good luck. Maybe you need more potassium in your diet... try increasing your potato, broccoli and banana intake. It may help some.

I get them all the time too! Mine is also still hurting a bit from yesterday morning. I drink a banana smoothie almost everyday and I still get them, the little bugger inside me keeps stealing my banana!

I used to get them. I was told to eat a banana and keep up on my water. With my first pregnancy I had it so severe and to the point it hurt 3 days after that my dr. sent me for a u/s of my leg to rule out blood clot. It would wake me out of a dead sleep. Keep up on the water ladies. I know it sucks. This time around I had one in the arch of my foot........

Girl this was me this weekend. Got a charlie horse so bad that I limped until yesterday. My snack today will be a banana and milk!! I mentioned before that it was a great chance to work on my labor breathing, and then when I limped up and down the stairs, all the curse words that I'd have to cut back on when baby gets here.

I've been getting them recently too, usually I'm able to stretch my calf the other way super quick and avoid it. That was not the case this morning! I hate stupid charlie horses!!

I've only had 1 leg cramp, but a foot cramp wakes me up almost every single night. I never had this with my daughter. I know it's common around this point in pregnancy and can be at least partially due to not drinking enough water. So, I've been trying to drink more water and coconut water during the day.

Thank you, MommaDucks, for my lovely siggy

SO CRAZY that you posted this, I have never had leg cramps but the past 3 nights I have woken suddenly with horrible cramps in my calf! The night before last I had one so bad I reached down to rub it and I could even feel a knot! It was sore all of yesterday. After reading the suggestions on this post I am going to eat me some bananas and milk and look for magnesium!

Oh man cramps stink! I got one in my calf so bad that it woke me up and it was also sore for 3 days! I've had some other foot cramps but I'm pretty good at sensing when one is coming and I have been able to walk them out before they rear their ugly heads. I know I've been dehydrated so I'm trying to work on that and also not stretching all the way....
