Awww....at least you know the kids are with your husband and in good hands. The original job I was offered was 9 hours a day, couldn't bring the baby til November and NO flexibility at all AND didn't go by the school calendar plus I had to work summers! I was so bummed out. 7.5 hours isn't too bad though. Does your school have all the holiday breaks off and summer off? That's a perk right there.
I'm a big baby lol. I work 2 miles from home and have a 4 minute commute... 6 if it rains LOL
I do get all the holidays off. I go in at 7 when my household is pretty much sleeping and get home about 2:30-2:45. I get all the holidays off including a week at thanksgiving, 2-3 at xmas, and 2 during spring break. It's just also hard because I go to school full time too so 2 times a week I have to go to class from 6-10pm too I'm glad it's my husband who is with them but would still rather I got to be there for their firsts in case they happen. I used to tell my hubby not to let my daughter try and walk when I wasn't home lol. i didn't want to miss her first steps
