i just went to the bathroom and when i wiped i had a thick yellow string of discharge. like someone blowed there nose. did i just loose my mucus plug? i don't rememeber losing it with my first dd since i was induced. there was no pink or brown with it but i did start cramping afterwards. i just took 2 tylenol and will watch the rest of the night how i feel.
It was probably part of it. If you loose all of it I think it's quite a bit. Some people loose it in one big glob and some loose it progressively in the form of yellowish snot. It's pretty gross either way, lol. I always say, it means *something* is happening, but doesn't tell you anything about when labor is starting.
UNLESS it seems that you lost almost ALL of it, and is accompanied by a tiny bit of blood. Then I would think you can safely conclude that you are definitely dilating.
Mom to Titus (12), Isaiah (10), Noelle (8), Joel (6), Hannah (4), Elijah (1), and baby due Nov 4!
I lost a glob of yellow snot looking stuff last weekend. No other color to it and it was about the size of a silver dollar coin. I was about where you are now-35 weeks and a couple days. With pg#3 my mp came out when I had about 30 days left and she was born 3 weeks before she was due. ITs weird because I went in to my OB 35 days before her EDD and was dilated to 1.5cm and my cervix was soft but not thinned. PG#4 I was 2cm and 50% firm or effaced (can't remember what he said) with 32 days left and he stayed put until his EDD.
