I recently posted and said I was a bit concerned that baby was facing directly forward (posterior, i.e. sunny side up) AND was folded in half so his feet were in his face. He was like that for quite a while and I could constantly feel those feet doing crazy things down there. I dreaded the thought of him trying to come out like that. Eek. But I noticed I'm not having those intense above-the-pubic bone movements anymore and thought I felt feet up by my ribs.

Well I had another ultrasound today and it confirmed that baby turned from posterior to Left Transverse (looking directly sideways which is a big difference from straight up) AND neither foot is by his head. Yay!! The u/s tech said he's in a great position. I'm sure labor will help him turn even a bit more anterior when the time comes.

NOW he is free to come out. So funny what only a week can do.

Yay!! So glad baby turned! I just had a midwife appointment and we were able to confirm that baby finally moved from being completely transverse to head down. She is still moving from side to side like crazy, but as long as she is head down I'll take it at this point! lol. Such a weight lifted off my shoulders. I'm sure you feel the same!
