I'm concerned that Jacob has flipped back to head up. I have my weekly ultrasound today at 230 so I will find out for sure then but I'm curious to know what y'all think. Tuesday night I had these sharp muscle spasms in my side and lower stomach area kind of like when you over stretch your arm that went on for 2-3 min. I called my OB and she gave the usual drink water, if it happens again or you have bleeding go to L&D to get checked. Well yesterday nothing else happened and I didn't think anything of it until I laid down and he had his nightly battle of hiccups which now are at my ribs normally they are down so low they feel like they are in my hip. His movement has changed more to my rib area and what feels like kicks to my hip. Am I crazy for thinking this or is it possible?

from experience, its possible.

im gonna cross my fingers he just adjusted himself a certain funny way so its feeling different and send head down baby vibes.

When BoJangles flipped to head down, I didn't feel as much movement, and what I felt was in my ribs and around my belly button. Baby was head down sunny side up so the butt was in my ribs and feet were like at my belly button. I felt that for a few days. Then over the weekend I told my hubby I was pretty sure baby went back down to feet down cuz all the movement was down low in my crotch and around my hips. It is by far the strangest feeling, like someone is clawing at my hip from the inside. Never felt that with ANY of my other kids, so I know it can't be a hand or a head.

It definitely sounds like he might have flipped. I have been told and everywhere that I read, they don't start making alternative plans until baby is heads up at 36 weeks, and even then they can still flip. Mine is still heads up, where as my boys were head down the whole time. Worries me, but I know she can still flip in time.

Definitely possible & before 36 weeks, not a major drama IMO.
Number 5 for me flipped head up head down head up head down every two weeks from 28 weeks until 36 weeks confirmed by u/s. He was a very big boy, but went head down & stayed down at 36 weeks.
This baby had been head down for 3 weeks, & has flipped back to breech in the last couple of days.

It's certainly possible. My OB said they don't worry about babies turning head down until 36 weeks. Still though, I would want to know.
