So, my CBC came back "off" for the second time in a row. They redrew it today but gave me the number for a hematologist. Not cool, man. I know today will not be much better because OF COURSE I went in there with the beginnings of a sinus infection!!! That will not improve my WBC... My WBC is slightly elevated, my lymphocytes are high and I am anemic. Wheee!
I also had my GTT today and we will see how that turns out. They draw blood for that one, so my office doesn't tell you the same day if you passed.
In good news, my quad screen and whatnot came back good so I have a very low risk for Down Syndrome.
Well, I would hope that your lymphocytes are still elevated if you have a sinus infection. Otherwise, I'd be concerned that your body isn't doing it's job to fight the infection. So do you know when will you see the hematologist?
