I'm officially feeling like the worst mom in the world today.

Finn has rolled over from tummy to back several times during tummy time, but he had yet to roll from back to tummy on his own. Until today, that is. And unfortunately it just happened to be when I left him snoozing on my bed to go to the bathroom. I was only in there for a minute and of course he chose that particular moment to quietly wake up and roll - not just once, but twice - right off the bed and onto the hardwood floor. He's fine, just scared himself. But I feel terrible.

Oh, and on top of that, in the moments before the "roll, thunk, scream" happened, I was in the midst of finding out that Aunt Flo has returned. Faaaaaantastic. This is shaping up to be a really crap day.

Oh no! We've all had moments like that. Abri rolled off my bed as a baby too. Don't beat yourself up over it

It's okay! Baby heads are actually quite tough! We had a scare yesterday when Alex fell on Rowan and kneed him really hard in the head. After some tears and hugs he was okay

I feel you on Aunt Flo. She keeps threatening me with a visit. Ugh.

'Scuse the bad typing, please. 'Breast is Best' but not when browsing the internet!

I'm glad he is ok and Boo to AF! This is my worst nightmare with the kids and thankfully none of them have done it.

So glad he's ok! And you're definitely not the worst mom in the world. If it makes you feel any better, I was holding Anna in my lap when she was 2 weeks old and she went face first into a big metal picture frame we were looking at before I even knew what was happening. She was fine. I think babies are actually made of rubber.

Aw! Poor guy. Glad he's okay. My sister fell asleep on her couch when my niece was a couple weeks old and my niece slid off her lap and right onto the floor. It was not funny at the time of course, but we laugh about it now. This is one of my biggest fears, though. Anna has yet to roll over, but I know she's getting close and I know something like this is inevitable. I bumper her head on the wall one night while doing a night time feeding. The chair that I feed her in at night is right up against the wall. I'm lucky it hasn't happened more than that!

And Aunt Flo can suck it. She's going to be making her way to me here pretty soon. For the third time.
