Anyone else having these symptoms recently and been told that it's your body getting ready to have the baby?

This week:

I have been feeling fatigue, increased intense back pain, feeling more hungry and can't get full, increased vaginal discharge, more frequent bowel movements, nausea and light headed, slight headaches, vaginal pressure and pain.

Today: The fetal doctor told me my head may be feeling the way it is due to the fact the baby is crazy low and something about blood flow going back up to my head might be slower.

The OB doctor checked and the baby is crazy low and I am 3 cin dilated already and he said that explains my symptoms.

Anyone else starting to feel this way yet? I wasn't expecting to feel this for at least another week or two so I am surprised.

I have had symptoms like I'm getting a cold, and tiredness, increased bowel movements, distraction and irritability. The one time I went into labor early was only three weeks early and I don't remember if I had any symptoms.

Yes, but I've been feeling that way for a week or two with no real labor. I even have a ton of BH that got to 4-6min apart for hours despite any efforts I made to stop them. I'm not expecting him any time soon. LOL

I slept nearly all day yesterday. I've also had increased vaginal pressure, increased bowel movements and CONTRACTIONS! OMGN! and they hurt, they are just not regular... I have 13 days until my scheduled C-section...

Sounds like I'm gonna have some difficulty telling apart labor preparation symptoms from regular pregnancy symptoms....

That has been my life--save the dilation--for the past 2-3 weeks. I hope it's a sign for you! It's my body playing tricksy with me.

Sounds like me this week too. The end of pregnancy isn't very glamorous!

I didn't really know I was going into labor for sure until my water broke both times.

Sort of. Fatigue and nausea, yes. Frequent bm's? Unfortunately not Still pretty constipated here. Slight headaches yes...vaginal pressure not really. Baby is still pretty high up in my ribs but I'm trying not to let that discourage me since they say with second babies they don't drop until the last minute.

I have been having more BH though and am losing tiny bits of my mucus plug so we'll see. I don't think I am super close though. I'm thinking I still have a couple weeks to go. Curious to see if I am dilated next week.

no, not really... the light headedness happens to me when baby is high for lack of oxygen when it is in my lungs, and when low probably due to less blood flow... so I'm always light headed. Constipation for the first time in my LIFE isn't a problem right now, but also isn't super often that I go either.
not feeling anywhere near labor... yesterday I did have quite a few BH contractions yesterday, which is pretty normal for me too but just hadn't been started up yet until yesterday.

I can say I have never really had any symptoms of baby coming before labor. with my last 3 my water just broke on its own. And before that I was induced past my due date.
