For a few weeks Wyatt has done the "backwards scoot" and for about a week now he has been getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth. One time he even did a few hops forward. For the BTDT moms, how long after this should he star to actually crawl forward?

Soon!! I think! My son was delayed on all his milestones, so I'm not sure but everything I've read says that rocking on hands and knees is a good sign! Go Wyatt!

It's been too long since Ethan was learning to crawl! So IDK! Haha. But yes it sounds like very soon you will have a crawler! Go, Wyatt, go! Kody isn't even scooting yet. He really wants to though! He is getting on his tummy, planting his hands and sticking his butt up in the air trying to get somewhere. Too cute!

I think it's mostly his "get up and go" drive. One of my sons was up, rocking on hands and knees for 2 months before finally taking off. The other...about a week! And pulling up comes REALLY quickly after crawling, so be prepared for that too!

Sorry it's not more straight forward. But if he is a motivated kiddo, he might be our earliest crawler

Okay well I will post a video as soon as he takes off. Guess it's time to baby proof!
