if you made one then they honor it?I was amazed that EVERYTHING in my plan was honored. If I specified I did/didn't want something they still got confirmation from me that it was o.k. even if hubby o.k.ed it.I will def make another plan with the next baby.

Despite my birth not going the way I hoped by being a c/s, all the after birth things and saving my placenta for me they did great! I have no complaints about how anything was handled! I still need to write up my birth story, but it was as perfect as it could be.

They did everything exactly right, except I needed IM pitocin to deliver the placenta because it wouldn't come out. I didn't mind. They even tried their best to let me catch the baby but I was too shaky to do it.

I requested they wait at least a few hours to give her her first bath- they did. Also I requested the Hep B shot normally given at birth delayed til her 2 month visit and they were fine with that. One nurse gave me a little crap about not having gotten the TDAP shot while pregnant- bu I didn't want it til I delivered and my Dr was fine with that- he never even suggested I get it while pregnant but she said it should be standard now. Whatever. I got that just before going home.
