last night, we had about 4-5 hours, but not all at once. she sleeps in maybe 1 hour long stretches at most at night right now. she's widest awake between 10p-4a. we're trying t cycle our sleep patterns so that one of us is always alert enough to take care of her, and at the same time slowly trying to get her to shift her days/ nights.

The past few days we go to sleep at 9pm then wake to feed at 12, 3 and 6 (it usually takes an hour to feed and soothe him back to sleep) then we get up around 9. I usually get 6-7 hours a night just because it takes so long to get him back to sleep then fall asleep myself.

I'm doing ok with the sleep, I'm just worried how I will be when I get back to work. I won't have the luxury of sleeping until 9am!

Oh and he is most alert in the evening

We're not in a real pattern yet. She is waking every couple of hours to feed but it's the same during the day. We are trying to keep her up during the day but I don't want her overstimulated. It's a real catch 22.

She feeds at 8 pm then is up until about 11.30 pm. Sometimes earlier sometes later. She gets fussy when overstimulated ( especially when we take her out) so has a harder te calming herself down in the evening. Then she eats between midnight to 1.30 am.
She sometimes wakes up at 4am or sleeps in to 6 am ( occasionally 7/8 am).
She is easy to put to bed throughout the day. Will wake up every hree hours for feedings and fall asleep right away but sometimes it might take an hour.

Thomas has been sleeping a 5.5-6 hr stretch at night (just now did a 7 hr stretch). Then he wakes to eat and sleeps another 3 hours or so. He is usually up for an hour for that feeding, but since he does a good stretch of sleep, it's tolerable. During the day he still naps a lot and feeds every 3 hours.
