I have noticed lately that Sophie's pee smells really strong. Like I can tell when she has pee'd because I can smell it immediately. I don't think she has a UTI because she isn't fussy at all when she pee's, she isn't running a temp at all, and is basically still my happy little baby. Anyone else have a smelly pee'er?
I feel like I should really know the answer to this, but honestly my youngest son is 6 now and I just can't remember his pee from that many years ago,

I notice this from time to time with Logan. Not all the time but just on occasion, I can smell his diaper before even looking at it. I assumed it was normal...lol

I am also wondering if it could come from my diet. Maybe I am eating something that is causing her pee to be strong... hmmmm.

Like Jenny's Logan, my Logan occasionally has pee smelly pee. Nothing insane, but enough that I can smell that he's peed, even with a new diaper. No fussiness here either.

I have noticed that with all three of mine on occasion. It wouldn't be when they were super full. It would be strong enough for us to think they had poopy diapers, and there would be next to no pee in there. We just chalked it up to either something they ate, they didn't get enough to drink, or the diaper is holding in their farts.

If they were babies, I'd try to nurse them more often. When they were older, I'd make some kid tea(decaffeinated and ¼c sugar per gallon) that they will guzzle all day if I let them, and that normally solved the problem. At least if they were dehydrated. Pooping solved the fart problem.

Miah's pee smells strong from time to time, and I don't think it's from your diet because Miah is bottle fed.

Any change in diaper brands or even types within the same brand? I can't believe how strong the pee smell is with certain diapers.

I find that this happens only when I use huggies. Reason #36 I prefer pampers

I use either pampers or huggies. I have found that the huggies run smaller though, so I am going to stick with pampers from now on. She is almost in a 3 in huggies snugglers, but a 1 still in pampers swaddlers.
