Has your May-baby started being fiesty yet? Or are they still pretty laid back about what they want or things not going their way?

We are full-out tantruming over here. She has quite a little baby 'tude when she doesn't get what she wants or is redirected. Neither of my others started this early. In fact, we are also just starting to get 'tude from K as well (at 2.5). Gotta admit, it's hilarious to watch her throw herself down and get that huge pout going. But I'm sure it wont be cute forever

We've got some of that going on here for sure! If I have to take something way from her, she screams then starts crying...however thankfully she's very easy to re-direct and will quickly forget about whatever it is she had. If she's upset and following me, she'll pick up and throw to the side any toy that's in her way. It's hilarious.

Funny you posted this, we have noticed a few changes. Our little dude whom is always calm and cool has begun to assert himself. He barks and hollers whenever he disagrees with our plans. I do think some of it has to do with his teething, he has no time for BS when his teeth are bothering him.

Yes, I've noticed when Lexi is upset, she gets all worked up! I've had to leave her in her crib a couple of times with toys so I can just use the bathroom, and she lets me know loud and clear she does NOT like that!

I've been seeing a little attitude, too. If Kaeldra's crying and I try to distract her with a toy while she's not in the mood for a toy, she's swat it down, haha. I can't help but giggle a little when she does it. She doesn't really cry when I take things away from her yet...not looking forward to that!

I thought I was the only one who had a baby with 'tude. Actually he's not that bad. He just gets very strong-willed, like when he gets his diaper changed.

^^Yeah, we have an angry alligator at changing time. She really hates it, mostly because its me restraining her from doing what she wants. It is super not funny when she has poo everywhere and is kicking and rolling and squawking like we are killing her.

^ Changing diapers has become one of the hardest things to do EVER lately. She just rolls around and laughs at me!

Same here! Kody is very vocal about everything, happy, mad, hurt, etc. He will get louder and louder with the cranky noises if I don't pay attention to him right away. Sometimes it's just that he wants up with me so he can see what I'm doing in on the stove top, or in the fridge, etc, but he will whine and cry like he is super hungry or something. But no, just curious and wants up. He knows if he gets loud enough Mommy will cave...so it begins! Ugh! Haha. He also HATES diaper time. Usually I can get through it if I give him a toy to play with or the remote or the phone or something. But usually that only lasts part of the time and then he's trying to squirm away while I'm pinning him down with my feet and changing him as fast as I can. He usually ends up getting away with no pants because I give up trying to finish. Hah. What a little booger!

Little Miss Snot Face (that's her new name) has more attitude than her little body knows what to do with. She will push against us with her feet and legs while holding her if she wants to get down. Throws toys just to do it, laughs, then crawls to it and does it again. I'm starting to think she's a reincarnated puppy. Diaper changing is such a pain. Toys help sometimes. Anytime I'm around she wants me. She'll scream and cry until I take her, then turn to the person that I took her from and smile and laugh like "haha mommy's my b****". Ridiculous.

We aren't having any tantrums yet. However, Chase has always been easy going and very funny, but now he KNOWS he is funny, lol! He will do something that he just assumes we will all find hilarious (which of course we do) and look at each person, laughing, slapping his knee, and shaking his head. Almost like he is an old guy telling a knee slapper, shaking his head yelling "can you believe that!" Which makes us laugh more, and the beat goes on..... He also loves to hear himself screech and yodel. He just sits on the floor making the loudest sounds he can and smiles after each one. Many would disagree, but I find it freaking hilarious

Oh, and diaper time is a joke. If its a poopy diaper? It usually ends up in us both needing a wardrobe change.

Roman only starts throwing a tantrum if he is put down at a time he's wanting to be held. Other than that he's still pretty easy going. My first was already super head strong at this age tho so I guess it's a difference in personalities

Misha will get cranky if we don't let him do something he wants to do, but he's relatively easy to redirect. Generally he's pretty happy, sometimes TOO happy. He REALLY likes being held while we're standing/walking around, so that's our major challenge (he's heavy! we don't want to hold him all the time!), because when he wants that, there isn't a lot else we can convince him is fun. Feeding time is usually a disaster (unless it's avocado). A few minutes ago I was chasing him around with spoonfuls of applesauce trying to get him to eat a little bit of it. When we feed him oatmeal, it's a two or three person activity, trying to distract him enough to get some in his mouth. And lately he's started making loud screaming noises for fun... I don't mind if we're home or out for a walk, but I can't help but feel bad for other restaurant patrons.
