If you had to do a report on any history event and money was no issue what event who you research and do your report on?
I would do the Holocaust since I am part Polish and lived in Germany as a kid and as horrifying of an event it was, anything about it fascinates me. I've been to the local holocaust museum.
I would do Antebellum and Civil War era America. My degree is in history, and I focused most of my studies on the 1800s in America, and I've always been fascinated with the Civil War and the lead up to it (and some Reconstruction/Victorian Era too, I worked in a museum where I lived in 1875 all summer). My dream is to visit every Civil War battlefield. I've already been to a couple major ones (Like Gettysburg, been there twice). I can't wait until we can take Arthur
I would either do fashion in Tudor England (more specifically Henry VIII's wives) or Italian Renaissance in Florence (Isabella de Medici in the 1570s). I was a History major and Women's Studies minor, so all my classes were about historical women. My high school thesis was about women's clothing in the Renaissance, and my college thesis was about bloomers.
