Hi ladies,

Now that we're close to the 1 year mark, I'm just wondering where all the little ones are now in terms of sleeping at night and naps. Lexi is sleeping through the night consistently now - hallelujah! She started that a few days after she turned 11 months. It is so wonderful - and I am so grateful. I am starting to feel normal again! She take a nice mid morning nap from 11:00 am ish until 12:30 or 1 pm.
And sometimes she will do a second nap around 4 pm. But I have skipped it a couple times and she's been ok. She goes to bed at night easier if she doesn't take the late nap. She goes to bed between 7:30-8:30 pm and sleeps until 8:15 am usually!

Our big Brocky has had a little regression since his molars started to work their way up. Last week was difficult for sleep and naps but hopefully he's on the tail end of it. Today he ran a normal schedule up at 8:15 (12 hours) napped were 1.5 hours am and 2.5 hours afternoon.

Kody is still the same as he has been since he was a newborn. However, we are working with a homeopath to try to get him going the right direction. I'm hoping to avoid another 3 years of this.

He has dropped one of his daytime naps, so now he just has one long nap late morning, from about 10:30 am till about 12:30 or 1. He goes to bed (if he's not fighting it) around 5pm and gets up about 5:30am, not counting all his wakeups.

Joy, how many wake ups would you say? Also, how is he doing with solids?

Jo is okay. Not spectacular, not horrendous. She goes down around 7:45pm, wakes at 11:30 or so, back down and then usually sleeps til 4am. Then up at 6:30am and might, might go back for an hour til 7:30. She also sometimes tosses a wake-up in there at 2am. But not always. I only know how often now, since she is in her crib next to my bed. She naps once a day from about 12:30-2:30. Although it can vary what time she goes down. Usually is 2 hours though.

Kary, still somewhere between 5-10 wakeups depending on how well or poorly he's doing.
Solids are going pretty well! I'm really pleased with how he's doing, and he's able to drink from a sippy cup too, so that helps a lot. I love being able to plunk him in his high chair and give him table scraps to eat. He loves scrambled eggs, toast, and soft stuff like that. He really likes ground beef and sausage, but has a hard time swallowing them without gagging a bit. He's not a big fan of baby food, because grown-up food tastes better!

We're in a pretty good routine now. She goes down around 6:30 or 7, and sometimes sleeps through till DH wakes here at 5:30 to get ready for daycare. Occasionally she'll wake at 4:00 and take a bottle and go back down till 5:30.

On the weekends, she wakes at 5:30 for a bottle, and then most times goes back to sleep till 7:30-ish. Sometimes she decides she's ready for the day at 5:30 though...those mornings are not fun.

Still at 2 naps/day. First one is around 10 a for 45-60 mins, then a longer afternoon nap around 1:00 till 2:30 or 3.

I just bought some ground beef to try with Lexi...do you purée it or just serve it whole?

Lilah is doing ok. She's down around 7-7:30pm, up for a bottle at 3am, up for the day between 6-7am. I'd like if she slept a bit later in the morning, close to 7 would be nice...usually it's 6:15.

She naps taking my oldest to school in the morning at 9am, but that's a super short nap usually. She'll go down again between 12-1pm and that one is *usually* 1 1/2 hrs, but can be as short as 40 min. That's usually it for naps. If she's super tired at dinner time, DH gets her down for a nap around 5pm....if she REALLY needs it. Sometimes I'll wear her in the Ergo around 4:30-5pm and she'll go to sleep in there.

Kary...I would just try it whole (in little pieces) and see how she does with it. If she gags too badly, puree it.
Kody has a little trouble with textures, so he gags some when trying to swallow something like ground beef or sausage. But he still tries, he loves meat!

Last night he was asleep at 7 and up at 6:30. Usually he needs a bottle around 5am. Last night I was going to try having just water in the bottle if he got up but he didn't. We'll see how it goes tonight. He usually takes one nap a day for 2ish hours around 11, but today he was tired at 10:15 and has been asleep for an hour. He'll probably take another short nap around 4. Overall I am really happy with his sleep. Now if I could just make myself go to bed earlier!
