Hey everybody, just wanted to pop in and give some updates on Logan, and share some pictures from his 6 month photo session!
He just turned 6 months on the 28th of April, and at last check was 17.5 pounds. Not sure how long - he goes for his 6 month well-baby check on Monday so we'll see then where he's at for height/weight. He has had a rough couple of weeks...first he was having a fair amount of teething pain for close to a week, and then this Thursday got hit with a stomach bug. He spent the first night projectile vomiting and couldn't keep any milk down. Then the bug traveled south and he's been having diarrhea for 2 days now. Pedialyte to the rescue! He seems to be in better spirits today and is really playful, despite still having super disgusting diapers. Hoping that he'll start eating solids again soon and maybe that will help "thicken" things up?
He was doing really good on solids, and then regressed a little bit when the teething started. For a while there he really loved sweet potatoes and squash, and was tolerant of peas or green beans. Now he is anti-veggies and will only eat fruits. *sigh* He really loves bananas, and any fruit combination containing bananas! I am going to start making more baby food now and see if I can't get him to eat more veggies. He also really loves Baby Mum-Mums
I can't say for sure, of course, but I think he's just a few weeks off from crawling. He has started really digging his toes into the floor and trying to push off, and sometimes will lay his face down with his butt up in the air and try to scoot that way. We'll see what happens in the next couple weeks!
Despite the teething pain, we still have no teeth yet - not even anything close to popping through. Maybe one day it will just surprise me. He is gnawing on his fingers an awful lot lately.
Overall he is an exceptionally happy baby, and I love spending my days with him. He is sleeping through the night for the most part, in his crib in his own room. He has such a funny personality, and is looking more and more like his daddy every day (boo!!!). I love love LOVE him and can't get enough of him!
My Logan's teeth did the surprise thing. The only real hey he may get one soon type symptom I've picked up on is restless sleep. But he's next to me still, so I feel every move. A lot of tossing and turning. Other than that, it's like, bam there's a tooth.
Eta: he did have teething symptoms, but it ended up being hard to use those as an indicator because they started in December and never let up.

He is such a little cutie. I agree that I see a lot of you in him.
He is the total opposite of soph. I can't get her to eat any of the fruits, but she will tear the veggies up. I think the fruits may be too tart for her or something.

Thanks everyone! He had his 6 month check today, and he was 17.5 pounds (he lost weight from being sick, so is back to where he was a couple weeks ago), and 27 inches long! He had shots today, but aside from being extra sleepy this afternoon and band aids on his legs, you wouldn't know it!
He ate some solids it of a pouch today and LOVED it...hopefully were back on the solids now. We shall see!
