I know it sounds crazy, but I'm all excited for Avery's first dentist appt Tuesday. Any other little ones been to the dentist yet? She only has 2 teeth, but I want to get her used to it early.

Haha. Excited for the dentist? You might be a first

Jo has been. But not for a regular check-up or anything, just for that crazy tooth she has. I kinda piggybacked her on the boys appointment. But the dentist couldn't really tell us much about it anyway. She wasn't sure if it was a tooth, since its funny shaped and small (and crooked). We go back at 18 months or if something changes (a tooth tries to come in behind it). Hopefully she can tell more by then. She only has one other tooth now and it's also fairly small and a tad crooked, but isn't funny shaped.

We haven't gone yet...I probably won't go till she's at least 18 months. It just didn't seem to make a difference with my son and I was all gung-ho with him - he went right at a year. They don't do a cleaning anyway. But it's nice to establish a dental home.

I would like my kid to grow some teeth so I could consider taking him to the dentist.

Nah, I figure baby teeth aren't permanent teeth, so I'm not sweating the dentist thing right now. I don't like going to the dentist myself, so I'm not going to sign up for it when his little teeth are brand-new anyway!
