GAHHH I do not want another baby just yet, but when I see little itty bitties I get those evil butterflies in my womb going "Yessssssss....have another...you don't need sleeeppp." I know others are going through this, but how do yall stop this?! This is how I got pregnant the first time!
Excuse me if my typing is bad There's probably a baby in my arms.

I'm doing the same thing. I did it with my first too. But somehow, it did go away. I'm not sure how or when but it did because I waited for years between my first & second & anybody who knows me knows when I want something, I want it now. So for me to have waited, the yearning had to have gone away. Speaking about right now though, I keeping telling myself that no matter how much I love baby #2, he stresses me the heck out. He constantly wants me & if I'm not holding him, giving my attention or if somebody else isn't throwing him a freaking parade, he moans & fakes cries nonstop. So I try to tell myself that this one really isn't a "bad" baby but I get so stressed out, how would I handle it with two little ones so close in age? Especially if the next little one was as high maintenance as my baby boy. It wouldn't be fair to them. Now if I had 3 easy going laid back ones like my first, I'd be mom of the year! Another thing I tell myself if that DS1 is going off to kindergarten in a few weeks. As sad & unready as I am, DS2 deserves some him & mommy time. DS1 had my undivided attention for 4 years. I want DS2 to have it for a little while too.

The only thing stopping me is my birth control implant. I don't feel like scheduling an appointment to have it taken out. Quite honestly, that's why I went with it too. LOL. I battle baby fever all the time though, and it tends to get worse every time someone mentions they're pregnant. God knows I don't need anymore right now though.

Baby fever is a bad thing, and I definitely have it. No more for me though.

I had a slight bit of baby fever after DD2, but eventually the combination of the horrific pregnancy and PPD after that still makes me feel a bit distant from DD2 killed it. Then I got pregnant with Lily. Not being sick at all combined with me being so in love with her is making me want another now. I got the voice to shut up by telling it we will try for another. The door isn't closed, it's just not being walked through for at least 3 years. And now I don't have the fever.

I think it's one of those things where if I can't have it, I want it. But since I can...I don't. At least I don't right now. If I fail to conceive #4 when we have our one go at it, I get a Yorkie. It will be all kinds of tiny and fit in my purse.

It's so funny, but I don't have the tiniest bit of baby fever. I am enjoying my son too much to introduce another child. I know it will happen, but part of me can't even imagine loving another child as much as I love my sweet, charming, happy little man (now that he's post-colic anyway!). I am also going back to work in 6 weeks, so it's the furthest thing from my mind, to be honest.

Also, since I'm being honest, I love hearing about others people's pregnancies and I'm so happy for them, I love seeing pregnant ladies and little newborn babies, they make me smile, but a small part of me is whispering "sucka!". I'm not even sure why since apart from 7 weeks of the worst morning sickness I could imagine and 3 months of the worst colic I could imagine it's been a dream!

I definitely have the idea of another on my mind. It doesn't help that we wouldn't want to wait a crazy long time - SO is kicking 40 soon and with Logan plus his 8 and almost 11 year old, he feels the age pressure.

I remind myself that the timing isn't right. We're moving ina little less than 2 weeks, we'll have some reno after we're in the house. We want to build up some savings again. I'd want better health insurance. I also want some notes time with Logi alone. He's not a bad baby by any means, but he can be high maintenance at times. I'm fine with it, but I try to imagine him losing his Mommy attention and it makes me a little sad.

I also have to face the reality that a second means that I'm privacy going to have to leave my job. Maybe staying on a little would be possible, but not in office and not 5 days a week, even remotely.
