Face Profile

I had my 12 week ultrasound today, and everything is looking great and normal!

Doctor didn't seem concerned by my recent weight loss (about 15 pounds), seemed happy that I'm keeping my vitamans down.
I also talked to my sister and she said she lost about 15 pounds in her first trimester (and she's a lot skinnier than me).
Overall things are looking really good. I'm due on 1/1/15, so I guess I'm going first!

On another note, anyone doing kegel exercises? I heard it might be a good idea and got an app on my phone reminding me a few times a day to do them.

Awww.... what a cute little face!! Glad your appointment went well! Yes, I try to do my kegals as much as I remember to do them. I did them a lot when pg with dd, and her delivery was fast and my dr said that I'm a good pusher, so maybe it does help.

Oh my goodness, what a perfect face! So sweet! I am bad with remembering my kegals. Smart idea to get an app to remind you!

How cute!! Curiosity killed the cat, but was your weight normal, high or low before baby? I've gained a ton and doc isn't worried.. I was normal/small before baby

And I love kegels. I did them regularly before baby

Before I got pregnant, I was at my highest weight ever 220 lbs, now I'm 205.
All my friends are noticing my weight loss, so they're going to be pretty shocked when I announce I'm pregnant next week.

Glad everything's ok - great scan pic!

Definitely do those kegels - a pelvic floor is something you don't know you've got til it's gone

Such a great photo! So cute

I try to remember to do my kegels, I probably do them about 4 days out of the week, try to do them at least twice a day. Definitely do them if you can, I didn't with my 2nd and my muscles were so weak that holding urine is hard. However, I was able to push her out easily, only about 10-15 minutes and 3 or 4 pushes.

So cute!! Our LOs are starting to look like real people and not just aliens or gummy bears! lol

Im glad the weight loss wasn't an issue. Ive lost 10 already (10.5 weeks) and they are not concerned at all.

And I try to do kegels as much as I remember. They do help from what people say. I didn't do them often with DS and I had 18 hours of labor with 2 hours of pushing. Granted he had a HUGE head, but Im trying to avoid that this time. haha
