Is anyone else battling this? What are you doing to help? Mine just got really bad in the last week and I thought I was doing great with trying to eat more fiber and drinking tons of water, but I guess not.

I had it bad when I was pregnant with Nate. Now, if I haven't gone in 2 days, I'll drink a 1/4 dose of miralax mixed in apple juice. And I'll up it to a half dose on day 3 if I still haven't gone yet, full dose on day 4. Usually works pretty well. I tried everything else, it didn't work for me. The key is to catch it before it's a problem.

Been there done that! Milk of Magnesia did the trick for me.

I'm sorry, no fun!! I hope you get some relief soon

I honestly have the opposite problem usually - I know, strange. But, I am usually looser around my period and also when pregnant. I'm racing to the bathroom because I need to poop and... NOW... not a few seconds later - LOL! Good luck in finding something that works for you

Magnesium supplements, juicing more fresh veggies, gallon of water a day and my all time favorite go to, the original FiberOne cereal, 2 servings at a time, tastes like cardboard. for some reason it always works best if I eat it right before bed and I always have a cup of coffee first thing in the morning and shortly after that I am able to go. Good luck!

I called my midwife she okayed some meds, but I didn't take any. After a week of not going I finally started going and after another week I think I'm finally almost normal, but it's been miserable. Nausea, constipation, vomiting, dehydration, spotting, I pee when I puke 1/2 the time, I'm gagging all day long. I don't like pregnancy. I don't even pretend to. I love babies, that's why I already have had 5.

I went to Taco Bell the other day, hoping that would help. It did not

I'm a MiraLax fan. I usually don't need a full dose to do the trick. It really is crazy that pregnancy causes such constipation when I drink so much and eat tons of fruits and veggies.

I eat a couple of prunes and drink apple juice and lots of water which helps! And definitely avoid foods that tend to back ya up.. I know it's hard for me when I have very little cravings and lots of aversions and sometimes you just have to eat what you can stomach at the time.

I was terrible with my first. This time around as soon as I found out I was pg I started a stool softener daily and that has done the trick!
