Hi All!

I am almost 8 weeks pregnant with a due date of 19 Feb 2015. I found out I was pregnant around 4-4.5 weeks and i mostly experienced cramping (almost like period cramps) and breast tenderness. I had slight spotting (brownish) and my Dr suggested I take progesterone suppositories even though my progesterone levels were OK (guess it was a level of precaution since I had fertility issues).

I had my first vaginal scan at 6 weeks and saw a teeny blob on the screen with a faint little heartbeat. Obviously I am thrilled, however, as the days progressed I starting replacing my excitement with fear. I anticipated to start feeling "pregnant". I read all about the symptoms and I have none. In fact, I would have no idea I was pregnant if it wasn't for the Dr confirming it.

My next appointment is on Friday, but I am dreading that maybe the baby stopped growing. I assumed the more pregnant I got, the more I'd feel it. Has anyone experienced a lack of symptoms but still had a healthy pregnancy? Do first trimester symptoms happen later for others? I read if the heartbeat is detected it lowers miscarriage risks but I've also read women having them up until 12 weeks. I feel the progesterone suppositories mask any bleeding because they prevent bleeding. Ugh just paranoid and i know my husband is going nuts so I figure I vent to you all! LoL, thank you!!

You may be one of the blessed that doesn't feel symptoms. I always thought I would be one to vomit as soon as I found out, and I haven't. One thing I have learned in general is fear manifests, don't fear anything. Just go with the news you were given you heard a heart beat, you can worry yourself over and over again until Friday or you can just think positive thoughts. Vent away, I have found this helps a ton.

Not everyone feels symptoms. I have some days where I feel basically "normal" I had some cramping and sore breasts too ... cramping can also be your body expanding inside, as much is going on in there (positively speaking) so when I feel mild cramps I just think baby is growing and so is my insides and whatever is going to happen is going to happen, I am with at least symptoms just staying as positive as I can

I wasn't sick at all with my first. Felt great. And never even got big. Had a perfect 8 pound, 5 ounce baby that is leaving me forever next month.

I never had any symptoms with my twins, other than some cramping. Same with this one too, and so far we've seen the heartbeat twice. Try and relax! It's totally normal not to feel anything!

Consider yourself one of the lucky ones! I know it's hard not to worry when you don't "feel" pregnant but trust me a bunch of us would gladly switch places with you right now bc we feel horrible. Congrats. Hope you can not stress too much until Friday.

I'm with you on the no symptoms. It makes me crazy too since I had every possible symptom with my first.

Thanks for replies. My sis in law had twins and only experienced fatigue and spotting around 10 weeks. And her sister is 11 weeks with nothing. It's hard to know what's going on when you can't see a bump or feel the baby!

I just talked to a nurse tonight who said with her 3rd kid she didn't realize she was pregnant until 5 months along! She said it was completely different than her other pregnancies and she had wonky periods and she felt normal until then. So wild!

It's so hard not to be concerned, but try not to borrow worry!

I too had no symptoms besides breast tenderness and cramping on and off... for the last few days I've had on and off nausea.. i actually read some where that at 8 weeks when baby starts to move about is when morning sickness can start for some people

I didn't have many symptoms with my first either. If I hadn't been so darn excited I probably would have forgotten I was pregnant some days. Lol this second one is determined to make their presence a lot more known. I hope you're just lucky!
