I got my Medicaid approval letter today and I immediately called the Dr that I'm wanting to switch to. I have an appointment for next Tuesday! The office staff is very nice and her office and the hospital are 5 minutes away from my house!!!!!!!!! Now I just hope I like her. I've haven't been to a female dr since I was pregnant with my oldest and that was only for a few months until I moved. A woman delivered DS6 bc my dr wasn't on call and I really liked her, just not used to a woman checking me...lol.
Actually the letter is dated for last week so apparently the information that the person gave me over the phone was incorrect. I didn't need the confirmation I sent them. That's fine bc I got connected to the nice people at the Pregnancy Center which I think was a blessing in disguise bc I've been feeling the calling to return to church for a while and I think this was kind of to seal the deal. The nurse actually attends my parent's church so I think it was a message. Anyway, I'm really happy.
