Ok I thought I would come here to get a little advice. My friend just miscarried and lost her baby. I am heartbroken for her. I do not even know what to begin to say to provide any source of comfort. I have never experienced a miscarriage so I can't begin to understand her sense of loss. Can someone who's been there give me some advice?

I am so sorry that I didn't see this before! I wanted to direct you to the sticky about Family & Friends. Also, the best thing to do is be there for her. Let her talk about the loss & cry as much as she needs to. Never tell her to "get over it" or "you are still young", etc. Another thing you could do is direct her to JM & here to Pregnancy Loss. We all understand what she has been through & can help her through the rough spots. Just coming here shows how much you care!
