I just want to put a plug in for "Teach Your Child To Read In 100 Easy Lessons". I was so worried about teaching my daughter to read, but this book made it so easy. There are days when she doesn't want to sit still for the lesson, but we just pick up where we left off later and she has been doing very well. You don't have to know anything about teaching your child to read. It tells you everything to say and makes it so easy. I checked it out at our library before deciding to buy it online.

This is actually one of the books we use, and it came recommended to us by another homeschooling mom who I trust. So glad we got a copy and will be using it with all my kids
