found this cute idea online and thought I would share what we are doing. http://www.littlegiraffes.com/handprintcalendar.html We are making one for both sets of grand parents. Not quite the same, but using there ideas. I have to change the seasons around etc. I thought it was a nice gift idea even for overseas relatives as they wouldn't be too expensive to post.
I am using free printable stationary from here- http://www.1-computer-stationery.com/ choosing an appropriate border to go with each month. Then on another sheet below printing out the calendar month. I found a beauty American one here- http://www.printfree.com/Calendars.htm but there was just too much American stuff on it for me so I found theses ones- http://www.timeanddate.com/ with Australian and other country themed ones. They have a drop down menu with a stack of different countries, so you can print one for relatives over seas if you wanted to.
