But I am new at this! I know how to chain stitch...but every time I YO it seems to look sad.

Is there anyway you can make a baby blanket just by yarning over and doing several rows of chain stitches?

can you double crochet or half double??? Those would work . Good luck.

haha ... I remember when I first started .. Yarn Over was my catastrophe point and I usually just unravelled the whole thing and had to start over again!

Double crochet is usually the easiest though so look for that post.
