I'm so sorry for late reply, I haven't been in the knitting board for ages!! I'm a newbie so it took me a while. I could do 10 rows per evening (maybe 2-3 hrs per evening?). I hope that helps!

If you'd like the pattern, please feel free to PM me - I don't have a website link to it anymore But did write it down so I'd be happy to share.

Would you mind posting it? I just started, myself (like... last night) and am currently doing a scarf, just to practice knit/purl but as soon as it's done, I'll be making a few blankie/lapghans.

I eventually want to get into bags and sweaters... have a few geeky designs in mind.

Aww that looks AMAZING! I've always knitted little things, I managed hats quite successfully, but never really anything more complicated. I struggled with gloves and gave up!

I found a blanket similar to this with hearts (by doing certain rows in a backwards stitch i think) which seems relatively 'easy', it looks to be just knit and purl and keeping track of which row your on hehe. Thought it may be a great gift for my sister-in-laws impending baby!

Great job

xx
