Factoring in all her measurements she's at 26.5 weeks... most of it in her length (she's measuring between 28 and 29 weeks with her overall length, her legs being as long as her head/torso. lol). Estimated to be 1lb 11oz. lil miss sure isn't so little!

Ob says everything looks great, I see him every month until delivery, but we may throw in an extra scan at 38 if she's still measuring this big. At 10 lbs they'll start thinking of inducing.

She does have a small chin/lower jaw it appears, so he suggests I take the breast feeding course at 34 weeks to have someone give me the tricks behind nursing through it if hers is still small at birth and to make sure my OB fights for an electric pump that isn't a rental, with my insurance.

Cute!!

I really wonder how big this baby will be. My first was 6 lbs 7 oz and my second was 7lbs. I'm hoping for another small baby, lol.

Good news!Last week mine were measuring 1lb 2 oz each. That was reassuring because random people (like yesterday at the dentist) will tell me I'm small for 23 weeks and when I tell them there are two in there, they really freak out. I try to explain sometimes that I'm telling them there are two because it gives me anxiety for people to say I'm small, it makes me worry that the babies aren't growing correctly. Other times, I just let it their comments go but it still worries me.

I want a peanut baby! LOL

I did get a note in my account noting that when the radiologist looked at the scans he is concerned about the size of my placenta. His recommendations were to just not skip any appointments and report any stalling in weight gain or any weight loss and come in to be checked out. Big Placenta = more likely to crap out early. I won't be surprised if they increase my scans frequency eventually. MFMs guess is 38 weeks I pop and she's 8.5 lbs. Which would be awesome except I WANT AN AUGUST BABY. LOL

1lb+ is the normal for 23 weeks, I wouldn't be too concerned. I only have one munchkin growing in there and she is a total life sucking parasite.. I am not surprised at all that she is ahead of the curve. Reme was born at 31w6d and was 18.5" long!!! My tall hubby obviously produces really long babies. Reme's not tall now, but I wouldn't mind a 6' tall daughter as long as my hubby understands she may want to play sports lol. We have a niece who is 5'9" tall at 15 and one who is 5'4" at 14 (I'm only 5'2")... The genes on his side are obviously in favor of tall kids!

Both of my kids are tall. My daughter's pediatrician predicts her to be 6' she is 9 and everyone guesses that she is 11. My son is 3 and no one believes it, he wears a 5/6 in jeans for the length. He recently started karate class and it looks so unfair when they spar because he is at least a head taller than all of the other kids, except for one girl and she just has BIG hair! I'm 5'3 and my daughter is taller than my shoulders. I have giants.
